Humanity's canvas

Humans are creators. It’s our super power. If you’re not sure, consider how our pets must see us, magically creating dinners out of tin cans.

When all humans have the same super power, it’s hard to see it, but each of us has within us the ability to make meaningful changes to the world that move it toward greater life.

Humanity’s canvas, the medium upon which we cast our creative magic, is both bigger and smaller than you might imagine. It’s as big as the planet, but we can divide it into three smaller, interdependent systems: ourselves (humans), the society and technology that we create (world) and the natural systems that we depend on (nature).

These are our areas of influence. Our canvas. All traveling upon a rocky sphere, eight thousand miles in diameter, hurtling through space.

Sure, our paint brushes have spattered the Moon and other cosmic neighbors, but when it comes to meaningful creative power in the hands of people like you and me, Earth is where we can be effective.

And Earth is in dire need of our creative powers.
