We all need a little down time to rest and rejuvenate ourselves, but it can get out of hand.
In my experience, down time has its own regenerative nature, where down time wants to create more down time. I keep thinking I’ll finally feel rested and ready to go, but I continue to stay down.
In the same way, up time creates more up time… to a point. I mean, we’re humans; we can’t keep moving forever.
I guess it’s a form of momentum: a body at rest tends to stay at rest, and a body in motion tends to stay in motion.
I’m trying to start the day in motion more often than not.
