Human weakness

To me, the phrase “human weakness” has the same meaning as “being human”.

We each have different capabilities. Whether we consider those capabilities strengths or weaknesses depends on the circumstances.

Sometimes massive muscles get in the way and speed and agility win the day. Sometimes being able to talk your way through a situation is what you need. Other times, being able to listen is more important.

Humans come in infinite variety, and each of us are strong and weak in our own ways and at different times.

Individually, we can’t be everything at the same time. You can’t be massively strong in the morning and lithe in the afternoon. In the same way, you can’t always be in the right emotional state for whatever situation arises. Sometimes, you’re going to fall short.

Be gentle with yourself. That’s what it means to be human.

Recognizing it in others is empathy.
