That essay was my introduction to Fuller’s ideas, and it was completely overwhelming to me. I felt bombarded by new idea after new idea because so many of his thoughts challenged how I saw the world. He made a lot of statements that seemed unsupported because he assumed a certain amount of background knowledge that I didn’t have.
The essay is very dense in the topics and ideas that it covers, and I think it’s a good introduction to Fuller’s thinking.
Twenty years later, I’m revisiting the essay and I’m hoping to provide some help unpacking the ideas that he presented. The guide will be in the form of a series of Everyday Challenge posts.
I won’t post the entire series in chronological order, but I’ll tag each of the posts as being part of the guide and the official guide page will provide a way for you to see the series as a whole. If you have any questions about the essay that you would like me to address, please send me an email, and I’ll do my best to include an answer in the series.
Here’s to reality!
